THE PROCESS
Made in Melbourne
From our first meeting, we will embark on a shared journey to tailor and develop a bespoke design that suits you.
Together, we will explore a variety of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals to find the right elements for your piece. I source only the finest and highest quality natural gemstones and diamonds to ensure that your jewellery is nothing short of exceptional. If you have existing stones from heritage jewellery, I can incorporate them into your new design, adding a touch of history and sentimentality.
THE ENQUIRY
My studio is centrally based in Melbourne and I welcome you to an in-studio consultation, offering the perfect opportunity to connect in person to share your ideas and bring your vision to life. This is the ideal time to explore any designs and elements you have in mind. We will look at the practicalities of how your piece will develop and ensure its tailored for longevity and durability for this lifetime and beyond.
My meeting hours are flexible.
I look forward to meeting with you and collaborating on a piece that is as unique as your story.
THE MATERIALS
We will look at precious metals of gold, platinum, silver that are base materials for my jewellery construction.
We can also explore natural gemstones and diamonds of the highest quality that can be used to base the design around.
THE CRAFT
Working together will involve design consultations, followed by sketches and selecting of precious metals, gemstones and diamonds.
Once your unique design is finalised the creation will begin, using traditional goldsmithing techniques of rolling, forging, filing and sculpting of the precious metal. I then hand set the stones into the near finished piece, followed by fine detailing and polishing to its final form.
With over 20 years of experience I have developed my craft with precision and integrity.
During the manufacturing process, clients are welcome to return to consult and once the piece is completed for complimentary cleaning, polishing and checking of settings.
